A Year-End Party
Today, a year-end party (and Xmas party) was held in the laboratory of our university.
今日、忘年会件クリスマスパーティが大学の研究室で開かれました。
We bought ingredients for the party in the evening, and then cooked takoyaki.
私達は夕方にパーティのための食材を買って、たこ焼きを作りました。
Takoyaki is a ball shaped food made from cake flour, eggs, cabbage, green onion, pickled ginger and octopus (which is called tako in Japanese).
たこ焼きは薄力粉、卵、キャベツ、ネギ、紅しょうが、そしてタコで作られるボール状の食べ物です。
Takoyaki is very yummy and we all love takoyaki.
たこ焼きはとても美味しく、我々は皆たこ焼きが大好きです。
I think almost all of the Japanese people like takoyaki.
私はほとんどの日本人がたこ焼きを好きだと思っています。
We made about 100 pieces of takoyaki today, and I ate about 20.
今日、我々は約100個のたこ焼きを作り、私は20個食べました。
I enjoyed wine, cake, yakitori (means baked chicken), and takoyaki while watching a movie with my colleagues.
私は同僚と映画を見ながら、ワインとケーキ、焼き鳥とたこ焼きを楽しみました。
But I can’t go home tonight because I can’t drive a car to get there.
しかし今日は車に乗れないので、私は家に帰ることができません。
